WWE Survivor Series 2018: Predicting the match card and its results

WWE Survivor Series 2018 PPV will take place on 18th November at the Staples Centre, LA for the first time ever. As we're only 16 days away from the brand warfare, two matches have been made official for one of the biggest four PPV's.

The first match that WWE is now advertising is, Ronda Rousey (Raw Women's Champion) vs Becky Lynch (SmackDown Women's Champion) and the second match is, Seth Rollins (Intercontinental Champion) vs Shinsuke Nakamura (United States Champion).

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

Some rumours have come in front suggesting that, The Undertaker will face returning Shawn Michaels at the PPV. Also, Team Angle vs Team Corbin is rumoured to take place at the aforementioned event. Also, it's rumoured that this year's Survivor Series PPV won't be focusing on Cross-Brand Warfare, but simply on Team Angle vs Team Corbin match.

So, without further ado let's dive right into this year's Survivor Series match card predictions and its results.

#7 AOP (Raw Tag-Team Champions) vs The Bar (SmackDown Live Tag-Team Champions)At Survivor Series, you guys can expect Akam and Rezar to easily pick up a win over Sheamus and Cesaro
At Survivor Series, you guys can expect Akam and Rezar to easily pick up a win over Sheamus and Cesaro
Authors of pain recently got renamed to AOP and got a new manager Drave Maverick. While speaking of The Bar, they won the SmackDown Live tag team championship two weeks ago. Also, this past week at Raw, Dean Ambrose attacked Seth Rollins after winning Raw tag team championships with him.

So, as per the latest rumour, it's likely that the former Shield brothers will relinquish the tag team titles this coming week on Raw, and this will possibly lead a tournament for the vacated titles. And I guess, AOP will be the tag team to win the whole thing and will claim the titles. So, at Survivor Series, you guys can expect Akam and Rezar to easily pick up a win over Sheamus and Cesaro.
This week on SmackDown Live, its general manager Paige asked Charlotte if she'd captain the women's team of SmackDown into Survivor Series. Though The Queen has said that she'd think about it following her loss to Becky at WWE Evolution, it's too likely that she will lead the women's team of SmackDown into one of the biggest four PPV's, Survivor Series.

A Guess for the women's team of SmackDown would be, Charlotte, Peyton Royce and Bille Kay (The IIconics), Carmella and Mandy Rose. And for the Raw side, I guess, Nia Jax, Ember Moon, Alexa Bliss, Ruby Riott, Natalya would represent the women's team this Survivor Series.

And if my guess is right then, it'll be the blue brand's team who'll win the five-on-five women's elimination tag-team match.

Winner: Charlotte eliminates Ember Moon and SmackDown Women's Team Wins
WWE have been teasing a potential match between Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin from months and months. Due to which in coming weeks it's highly likely that WWE will kick-start their feud on a higher level.

Also, according to the latest rumour, WWE will now solely focus on building this match more than any other so, don't get bananas when you will see this match main eventing the Survivor Series PPV as it'll be now main attraction going forward.

And I guess, this match will take place with a stipulation of "Winner gets full control of Monday Night Raw". So, at the one of the big four PPV's, Team Angle is easily favourite to defeat Team Corbin. Also, his win over Corbin could very well lead to a one-on-one match between the superstars.

Winner: Team AngleThis week on Raw, WWE officially announced the first match for WWE Survivor Series 2018. They advertised Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch in a champion vs champion match for one of the big four PPV's.
This past month at WWE Evolution Ronda Rousey defended her Raw Women's Championship against Nikki Bella while Becky Lynch defended her SmackDown Live Women's Championship against Charlotte.
As witnessed, both women were successful in retaining their respective titles and are hopefully moving on to the Survivor Series as champions. A Guess, for their upcoming match, is that Ronda Rousey will beat Lynch successfully and hopefully will go on to defend her title against Nia Jax at WWE TLC PPV.
While speaking of Lynch, suffering a defeat from the hands of Rousey wouldn't hurt her reign as a champion since she will walk out of Survivor Series still as a champion as the scheduled match is a non-title match.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2014

Hell in a Cell (2014) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on October 26, 2014 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was the sixth annual Hell in a Cell event. It was the second pay-per-view of 2014 not to feature the WWE World Heavyweight Championship being contested, as current champion Brock Lesnar was not scheduled for the event (the first being Payback, although then-champion Daniel Bryan was present at Payback but didn't defend the title). Eight matches were contested on the main card while one match took place on the pre-show which was streamed live on the WWE Network. The card had a double main event (similar to WrestleMania VII). John Cena defeated Randy Orton, in their second encounter inside the Cell (their first encounter being the 2009 event, which saw Orton victorious), to secure a future Championship match against current champion Brock Lesnar while Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose in the main event to ...

WWE SummerSlam 2014

SummerSlam (2014) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on August 17, 2014 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was the twenty-seventh annual SummerSlam, and the sixth consecutive one held at the Staples Center. Its pay-per-view promotional poster was the first to incorporate the new WWE logo. Eight professional wrestling matches were scheduled on the event's main card and one match took place on the pre-show, which was streamed on the WWE Network. The main event saw Brock Lesnar defeat John Cena to become a four-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This was the only SummerSlam event where all titles contested changed hands.

WWE Payback 2014

WWE Payback 2014 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on June 1, 2014 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second event under the Payback chronology, with the event having originated in 2013. Nine matches (including the pre-show) took place at the event. There were two main events. The first main event saw John Cena defeat Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match to culminate the feud. The second main event and last match of the night saw The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) defeat Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista) in a No Holds Barred six-man tag team elimination match. It was the first event since TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (2013) that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was not defended. Current champion Daniel Bryan, however, was present at the event, despite having neck surgery and was coaxed by Stephanie McMahon to surrender his title or his wife Brie Bella would be fired.
