WWE Roadblock: End of the Line 2016

Roadblock: End of the Line is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and WWE Network event produced by WWE for the Raw brand and the new cruiserweight-exclusive brand, 205 Live. It will take place on December 18, 2016, at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This will be the second event under the Roadblock chronology, but this will be the first event also on pay-per-view.

WWE SummerSlam 2014

SummerSlam (2014) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on August 17, 2014 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was the twenty-seventh annual SummerSlam, and the sixth consecutive one held at the Staples Center. Its pay-per-view promotional poster was the first to incorporate the new WWE logo. Eight professional wrestling matches were scheduled on the event's main card and one match took place on the pre-show, which was streamed on the WWE Network. The main event saw Brock Lesnar defeat John Cena to become a four-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This was the only SummerSlam event where all titles contested changed hands.

WWE Payback 2014

WWE Payback 2014 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on June 1, 2014 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second event under the Payback chronology, with the event having originated in 2013. Nine matches (including the pre-show) took place at the event. There were two main events. The first main event saw John Cena defeat Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match to culminate the feud. The second main event and last match of the night saw The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) defeat Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista) in a No Holds Barred six-man tag team elimination match. It was the first event since TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs (2013) that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was not defended. Current champion Daniel Bryan, however, was present at the event, despite having neck surgery and was coaxed by Stephanie McMahon to surrender his title or his wife Brie Bella would be fired.
